The Australian Paranormal Society are honoured to be hosting public paranormal investigation tours at Victoria’s Trades Hall in Carlton.

You be the investigator; you help us unveil the hidden spirits of the never before investigated location, with a fascinating history for us to explore.

This is a unique opportunity for the public to experience one of Melbourne’s most historic and iconic buildings in a very different light. With such a rich and intense history, the Victorian Trades Hall has so much for people interested in the paranormal and history to explore.

The Victorian Trades Hall is the largest and oldest trades hall in Australia, built to accommodate and celebrate the growth of Australia’s union movement.

It was constructed in stages between 1874 and 1925. The hall was built for the ‘Eight Hours Men’ - the local trade union leaders - and highlights Australia’s role in achieving an eight-hour working day.

The Melbourne Trades Hall Committee was formed in 1856 and received a grant of land from Premier John O'Shanassy to build the Melbourne Trades Hall.

The original Trades Hall was opened in May 1859, built by workers as an organising place for the labour movement in Melbourne, and as a medium to educate workers and their families.

Please note the following conditions of your booking:

1. Late arrivals will not be admitted and will forfeit their ticket/s. All tours start on time.
Please ensure you arrive well before the start time.
Staff mobile phones are switched off at the beginning of our events, from the time guests are being checked in.

2. Any attendee deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied entry to the event, or if they have already entered, they will be asked to leave, with no refund of tickets.

3. Tickets may be transferred to other individuals, but the organiser must be informed of the details of the new guest, including name and contact details.

4. Transfers to other dates or tours are at the discretion of the organiser and determined by the availability of space on the new tour and other factors, including the operation of the original tour.

5. Cancelation/s, no refund/s will be provided after 72 hours prior to the event date.

6. No smoking, alcohol or drugs allowed on site.

7. Anyone engaging in behaviour that is affecting the running of the event, or the enjoyment of the other guests will result in your ejection from the event with no refund.
