Norfolk Island

Norfolk Island is invariably listed as one of the world's most haunted islands.

Exploration, adventure, agony, and obsession - in every step.

A lantern-lit tour through the historic streets of the Kingston World Heritage site brings this island's troubled past to life, a place where the macabre and spine tingling tales of murders, suicides, and hangings come to life.

Bring an open mind and come with us beyond the boundaries of the known.

Hear the bizarre and turbulent stories, the terrifying tales of mischief, malice and mayhem, as you are led by your local ghost-host through the olde town on a spine-tingling lantern-lit ghost tour.

Double-dare you to follow me...

What's included?
  • Bus tour through the historic streets of Norfolk Island's World Heritage listed area
  • Walk through the old convict colonial cemetery
  • Visit to 'The Duplex' known as Australia's most haunted house, as seen on TV
  • Includes a heart-starter of port and hand-made chocolates

Accommodation

There are a number of accommodation houses on the island reputed to be haunted. We are happy to recommend one to you... However we are never too sure whether it's good for business or not.

Venue

The iconic UNESCO World Heritage listed Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area on Norfolk Island is a site of universal significance. It is the story of forced mass migration, eventually convict transportation to the Australian colonies would be acknowledged as another form of slavery. The Island's British penal settlement is a testament to its dark and turbulent history, opened as a place of 'extremest punishment short of death' this is a place which cannot help but be haunted by its troubled past.

Authentic informative ghost tour

Rachel is a fantastic guide. Her knowledge of the history and happenings made this an extremely interesting night.
Believe in spirits? Then Rachel has some eerie, hair raising stories that talk of sadness, humour and love.
Don’t believe in ghosts? There’s every chance you’ll find it hard to deny they exist after this tour..
As for Rachel’s home made chocolates - the best morning be ever tasted!!

The only improvement on this tour is she could sell her chocolates as well ??
