Albany abounds with political ghosts living and dead. This tour concentrates on the dead ones but also includes some non-celebrity ghosts as well.

Jason, the ghost of the New York State Department of Education Building, still lends a helping hand to neophyte bureaucrats.

Learn about Mayor Erastus Corning second most unusual technique of scaring people. Even Abe Lincoln makes a guest appearance. Enjoy some of the most unusual ghosts that any haunted state capital can boast!

Enjoy eerily pleasant Hudson River breezes as you stroll through Albany's supernatural haunts. Colorful tour guides weave history and mystery to bring Teddy Roosevelt and other local figures alive, spinning yarns that prove truth is stranger than fiction.

Each tour is 1 hour and 30 minutes long, total walking distance is less than a mile, covered at a very leisurely pace so that you can enjoy the mysterious atmosphere and haunted locations. We are positive that our tours will enchant, entertain, inform, and scare you.

Availability

Tours generally operate Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm.

Weather

Barring a massive blizzard that would make walking outdoors legally irresponsible due to safety, tours proceed in all weather. In the event of unsafe weather, tours are rescheduled for another mutually convenient date at no additional charge.

What to bring/wear

Please bring along water or a hydrating beverage to replenish your energy.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the tour more than one week in advance, you receive a full refund. If you cancel from one week to 48 hours in advance, you receive a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, you can get a credit toward a future tour good for 90 days.

If you as an individual are a no show or you go to the wrong address, you may rebook within 30 days but no refund will be given. This does not apply to vouchers. You cannot reschedule.

Refunds are given on a case by case basis. Requests must be received within 30 days of the tour. Requests within 60 days may receive the offer of a replacement tour.
